 Frequently Asked Questions

OMAKAI sushi and OMAKAI hand roll bar are two different concepts under the OMAKAI brand umbrella. The primary difference is in the style and presentation. OMAKAI sushi is an omakase-style restaurant, where guests will trust the chef and “leave it up to us” along the way. The goal is to take each customer on a culinary journey, including the highest-quality seasonal and chef-selected appetizers, nigiris and hand rolls. OMAKAI hand roll bar provides a more interactive dining experience, where guests will sit at the sushi bar and watch the chefs at work. Guests can select from four different set menus, or they can order a la carte, choosing from specialty hand rolls or sashimi.

*OMAKAI sources the same, high-quality fish for both concepts.

At OMAKAI sushi, we strive to maintain an atmosphere that is both welcoming and refined. With that in mind, we kindly request that our guests avoid overly casual attire, including beachwear, swimwear, athletic attire, sleeveless shirts, hats and excessively informal clothing.

Thank you for your understanding and for helping us create an optimal dining environment for our guests.

Reservations are not required at OMAKAI sushi, but they are recommended. For your convenience, online reservations are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week at omakai.com. You may also call each of our restaurants directly.

OMAKAI hand roll bar does not accept reservations. Your entire party must be present in order to be seated.

To allow for some flexibility, all reservations have a 10-minute grace period. If you are running late, please give us a call as soon as possible and we will try our best to accommodate you. Please note that failing to contact us may result in a cancellation.

OMAKAI sushi is open from 12-10:30 pm on Sunday – Thursday and 12-11:30 pm on Fridays and Saturdays.

OMAKAI hand roll bar is open from 11:30 am-10:30 pm on Sunday – Thursday and 11:30 am – 11:30 pm on Fridays and Saturdays.

Online reservations can be made for up to eight guests. Larger parties and private events should be booked directly through the local restaurant to confirm availability. Please note: for parties of 5 or more, a credit card is required. If reservations are canceled with less than a 24-hour notice, there will be a $10 charge per person.

That said, we completely understand dietary restrictions and allergies. Please let us know if you have any specific needs, and we’ll do our best to accommodate you within our set menu options.
